We are thrilled to have Mrs. Lydia Harris offering Art Camps with AFAA this year! Ms. Lydia has a life-long love of art, and is excited to share that will you!.
The goal of this camp is to enhance the lives of the students by encouraging them to use the process of creating art as a means of stress relief and self-expression and to develop an appreciation for the beauty and splendor of creation. We create because we are created in the image of our creative God. It is a blessing to begin to appreciate the intricate beauty of the world around us. Budding artists can try their hand at various mediums in the course of our week. We will also touch on the basic elements of design and color relationships. Scott Adams said “Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”
