REGISTRATION FOR THIS CAMP IS NOW CLOSED

Led by Theatre instructors, Miss Kat and Miss Courtney, the first portion of this summer camp will be to have everyone memorize a monologue. Using these monologues we’ll study and apply characterization techniques (like Uta Hagen’s nine questions and Stanislavsk’s process). This will really help the students in the camp enhance their auditioning and performance skills.

The second part of the camp will be an in-depth focus on improv. Specifically learning how to use improv the correct way and having the right mindset to apply techniques like Spolin and Misnier. A few select improv games will be used during the performance at the end of the week to demonstrate what has been learned in the camp.

This will be a Monday through Friday camp with a night of improv and monologues performance on Saturday.

  • June 20th-23rd (Mon-Thurs): 6:30-8:00 PM
  • Friday, June 24th: Rehearsal from 6:00 – 8:00 PM
