Taught by Miss Sarah Lunceford, this fun-filled, 3 hour-a-day camp will have your little ones leaping and twirling as they shine for Jesus through Ballet and Jazz.  Your child will arrive to find a new princess theme each day. We encourage them to dress up over their dance clothes each day if they’d like! They will not only learn the basics of Ballet and Jazz this week, but also have an exciting theme-related activity to end each day.  Then on the last day you will be invited to come and see a demonstration of what they’ve learned!

AFAA’s own Ms. Anna Ballard will use the art of dance through Ballet and Jazz to teach your children that they are gifts from God created to move for His glory! We are excited to have one of our Tap instructors, Miss Laney Culberson, offering Tap camp this summer!  Learn or improve the basic techniques of tap in this rhythmic style of dance.  A demonstration of skills will be performed in camp at the end of the week.

This week-long ballet intensive is designed to keep your skills sharp over the summer.  Our studio owner and director, Ms. Nicole Troxler, will guide you through daily training in technique, conditioning, and choreography to keep you fresh and in ballet shape!

Looking for a great workout while also polishing up your Jazz dance skills?  Then Ms. Dana Culberson is ready for you!  Open to those who have completed 1+ years previous Jazz experience, this camp is sure to get your heart thumping!

This class is designed specifically for older girls who have always wanted to pursue ballet, but haven’t had a chance until now. If you are not sure which style of dance is your favorite, then we suggest trying Variety Dance Camp!  Each day of this camp will focus on a different genre of dance: Ballet, Modern, Liturgical, Jazz, and Character. Taught by Miss Laney Culberson, this camp will expose you to 5 different genres so that by the time Open House rolls around for the next studio year, you’ll know just want dance styles to choose!

String Art Camp will be using–SURPRISE!–string! Yes, we will do a whole week of art camp using string! We will use string to paint, weave, make animal creations, dream catchers, and other fun, artsy things!

Narnia Art Camp will be a fun week of using various mediums of art inspired by the beloved Chronicles of Narnia written by C.S. Lewis. We will paint, use clay, chalk pastels, and more! And hopefully along the way inspire your children to read this wonderful series and learn some great life lessons.  “Let us go on and take the adventure that shall fall to us.” (Queen Susan in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe)

Join AFAA’s voice instructor, Ms. Jessica Johnson, for a week-long camp focused on proper singing technique, intro to music theory, and learning about and performing songs from a variety of musical genres. We will learn songs together as a group and perform them individually for each other in a fun, encouraging environment. By the end of the week, the students will have learned four songs and will pick their favorite to perform for their parent(s) on the last day of camp.
