2022 OPEN HOUSE dates are August 2nd and 9th!

We’d prefer everyone make an appointment and register for fall classes in person at one of our Open House events. However, if you cannot make it to an Open House event, online class registration will open on August 2nd on our registration page.
Classes Begin August 29th!

See What Sets Us Apart
We offer a Christ-centered and wholesome environment while having high standards of technical instruction in our classes. While maintaining a Christ-centered atmosphere, we are dedicated to the level of excellence we expect from our students. Another aspect of AFAA that sets us apart is that our focus in all departments (dance, theatre, voice, and visual art) is on training in technique. Our focus is not on competition (dance), cranking out shows (theatre), or winning awards (art). Rather we utilize classroom time to train the students in all aspects of their art form so that they are prepared should they choose to pursue a fine arts field of study as a career in the future. We feel confident you will see what sets AFAA apart as soon as you visit our studio! Read more about our mission and vision statement here.
Why attend Open House?
The primary reason is because we’d love to meet you! It’s also an excellent chance to tour our studio, meet teachers, and see what we are all about!
Whereas visual art and theatre students are placed in their classes by age, all dance students must receive a placement from our instructors based on skill level, previous experience, and age, and a face-to-face meeting at Open House is the most efficient way to accomplish this. Even if your student has been taking dance elsewhere for several years, we still need to discuss and/or assess their skills in dance technique to make sure they will be placed in most the appropriate class level setting them up for a successful year of instruction.

Register For Classes!
AFAA is pleased to offer classes in four categories of fine art: dance, visual art, voice, and theatre. Our dance program offers classes for ages 3 through adult, and our visual art and theatre programs begin around age 7-8 and go through age 18. Voice begins at age 7. Classes are conveniently offered on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons and evenings, leaving Wednesday nights free for you to attend mid-week worship services, and Friday evenings free for you to enjoy family time on the weekend! Ask Questions!
Sometimes it’s just easier to meet in person with our teachers to ask all the questions you may have. You can visit our FAQ page here before you come.
See Our Schedule
Juggling multiple extra-curricular activities can be a challenge to say the least! When you attend our Open House event you can consult our teachers in person and prayerfully find a way to allow students to attend all the classes they wish to take. We do our best to keep all of our classes on just three evenings a week to allow for free nights for other activities in which we know our families participate. Check out our Class Schedule here. Keep in mind that the dance instructors will need to be the ones to place students in the appropriate classes for their skill level.
Calculate Tuition
AFAA’s tuition model is unique in that we keep it as simple and straightforward for parents as possible. When you register for classes our teachers and staff will help calculate any discounts you may be eligible for such as multiple classes, siblings, etc..
