Pink split-sole ballet shoes are required for all ballet classes (preferably canvas), and for pointe, pink pointe shoes are required and must be approved by the instructor to ensure correct size and fit. AFAA class t-shirt is to be worn to and from class, however, girls must remove it when class begins. (In cold weather, girls may wear warm-up ballet sweaters, but they must be removed once the student is warm.)
